- 1 lb (450g) cooked crawfish tails (thawed if frozen)
- 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes and green chiles (Rotel)
- 1 block (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/2 cup green onions, sliced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Tortilla chips or bread, for serving
Instructions
- Prep the Ingredients:
- If using frozen crawfish tails, thaw and drain them. Set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Combine Ingredients:
- Add the crawfish tails, diced tomatoes and green chiles, green onions, and both types of cheese to the bowl with the cream cheese mixture. Stir until everything is evenly incorporated.
- Bake:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and the cheese is melted.
- Serve:
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve warm with tortilla chips or bread for dipping.
Notes
- You can add jalapeños for an extra kick!
- This dip can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator, then baked when ready to serve.
