- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
For the potatoes:
- 1 lb (450g) baby potatoes, halved
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Garlic Butter Sauce:
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 tsp fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Cook the Potatoes:
- Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add potatoes, sprinkle with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cook for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and tender. Remove and set aside.
- Cook the Steak:
- Season steak cubes with salt and pepper.
- In the same skillet, heat 1 tbsp olive oil over high heat.
- Sear the steak cubes for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
- Reduce heat to medium and add butter to the skillet.
- Stir in minced garlic, thyme, and rosemary. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Combine and Serve:
- Return potatoes and steak to the skillet. Toss in the garlic butter sauce.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley, adjust seasoning if needed, and serve hot!
